U-Pick Hours for September 12-18

Our cut flower u-pick is opening for the season! We update our hours weekly and post the times here as well as our Instagram and Facebook pages on Sundays; however, if it happens to be raining during the time we’re set to be open, we’ll be closed. This week we’re open Monday from 4-7pm and Tuesday from 4-7pm. We hope to see you there!

How the U-Pick Works: Bouquets are $15 each for up to 15 stems and you can pay by cash or etransfer. We recommend bringing your own snips and a vessel for easy transport, but we also provide clippers and supplies to wrap your bouquets. When you arrive, park on the roadside at 139 Jewell Road and walk down the driveway with the Morning Dew Gardens farm sign. You’ll find us at picnic table next to the gardens where we’ll show you how to pick the flowers, and then you can wander the rows! There are loads of beautiful flowers in bloom including amaranth, ageratum, ammi, bachelor’s buttons, calendula, celosia, cosmos, dianthus, gomphrena, marigolds, nasturtium, nigella, orlaya, phlox, rudbeckia, scabiosa, snapdragons, stock, sunflowers, and zinnias.

U-Pick Update

We had a slow start to the flower season thanks to some very pesky pests in the u-pick gardens. The plants are starting to recover and we’re hopeful to be sharing our opening hours before the end of July; however, if you already have a gift card, we want to make sure you have plenty of time to pick your flowers. You can contact us to arrange a visit to the farm – we’ll have the supplies available, and you can redeem your gift card at your convenience. When the gardens are in full bloom we’ll post our opening hours here and on our social media.
